Galway House is a supported housing project based in Torquay. It provides low to medium support, with self-contained accommodation, to assist young people to develop the skills to live successfully and independently.
There are seven private flats, and residents from the ages of 16 to 25 and from the Torquay area, can get housing and support to help them with:
- housing benefit and other benefits you may be entitled too
- managing their money and bills
- housing issues and understanding their tenancy
- drug and alcohol issues
- cultural and spiritual needs
- education, training and employment
- moving on to independent living
- maintenance and looking after their home
- dealing with anti-social behaviour
- accessing services
- becoming involved with the community
