Whenever a property has gas we aim to check the supply and appliances at least once every year. This performance measure shows how many properties have exceeded the twelve-month period since the last check and therefore are due another service. The figure is calculated as a percentage of the total number of properties with gas.
The chart below shows the number properties requiring a gas safety check as at 30th September 2008.
The following graph shows the performance over the last few years. The line shown in red is a trend-line, which enables you to see the general direction of performance – in this case the number of gas safety checks outstanding is decreasing.
