Making a donation to Devon care & repair

How you can help us to help vulnerable people in Devon

As a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status, we are dependent on outside funding to enable us to continue to provide our services at a subsidised rate for vulnerable people.

We are sometimes asked if there are financial ways in which people can help us to do our work. We welcome such help and there are various ways this can be done:

  • a one-off donation
  • a legacy bequest in a will
  • a donation in memoriam.

However large or small, every donation will be gratefully received and put to good use either to enhance existing services or to help us set up new ones.

Making a one-off donation
If you would like to make a one off payment to Devon care & repair, please contact your local office or send to your local office a cheque made payable to Devon care & repair, specifying that it is a donation.

Remembering us in your will
If you have benefitted from our services or if you support our aims and intentions you might like to leave us a donation in your will. Any legacy will be exempt from inheritance tax. If you have already made a will you do not have to have a completely new will drawn up, but can add a codicil to it.

In memoriam donations
You can make a donation to us in memory of a loved one by asking for donations to be sent to your local Devon care & repair office in place of funeral flowers.

These are all special ways you can help vulnerable people in Devon, and we must stress that all financial gifts to us are used solely to provide essential services.
