Home safety assessment

We offer a free safety check of your home, providing advice and practical measures to help reduce the risk of accident or falls. The checks are carried out by our own handypersons and usually take an hour or so to complete. The handyperson will go through his findings with you and make suggestions to improve safety in your home. These could be simple measures such as moving a rug or putting a brighter lightbulb in the hallway to light the stairs. Very often the handyperson will be able to carry out the work whilst he is there. It will always be your decision as to whether you act on his suggested safety improvements.

We are working with the government, NHS, local councils, police and fire service to prevent accidents and keep your home safe and secure.
