Best affordable development
Our award-winning urban village development at St Austell
.jpg) We are delighted that for the third year running we have won the Mail on Sunday, British Home Awards Best Affordable Housing Development award 2007 and as before it is in partnership with Midas Homes as developer. This year the winning development is at St Austell Urban village where we have redeveloped and regenerated redundant British Rail goods yards. Although urban in location, the scheme is village like in nature. Architects worked closely with the Princes Foundation and this influenced design of the development. Building materials include natural slate, colourful painted render, brick and weatherboarding. The development has a mix of homes for rent, shared ownership and outright sale as well as commercial space for start-up and established businesses and retail space. Our previous winners of the award were Oak Meadow South Molton and Gun Wharf Plymouth
