Devon & Cornwall Housing Association (DCHA) and North Devon Homes (NDH) have worked together to host the area's first ever "green contractors event".
Over 40 local contractors and consultants joined us at the Broomhill Art Hotel in Muddiford, finding out about DCHA's and NDH's commitment to improving our environmental performance.
The event was supported by Envirowise and Envision – local experts in their field who advised participants on making savings, meeting customer expectations and managing risks. Renewable Energy 4 Devon also helped us learn about how renewables can support us working effectively.
Rose Hunter, Devon & Cornwall Housing group's Sustainable Living Coordinator said "This was a fantastic event in a sustainable location. The place was really buzzing with people sharing ideas and enthusiasm, and looking at how we can work together to address the challenges of climate change."
