New Plymouth office

Midas Homes Ltd is working with Westco Properties Ltd on a major redevelopment of the Bull Ring area of Devonport and has contracted to build a brand new office for DCHA as part of a prestigious mixed use scheme.

The offices will be mostly open plan and air conditioned and will be constructed to the environmental BREEAM standard ‘very good’ and have many energy saving features. Staff consultation is underway for the internal layouts and the conference suite on the fourth floor. At present, we are negotiating with another housing provider in the area for them to lease one floor and manage the reception area.

Completion of the shell construction is due in December this year with a move from the existing Greenbank office planned for January 2011.
