Exchanging your home
Most tenants have the right to exchange their home with another tenant of a home owned by a council or another housing association. You do need approval from both landlords for the exchange to continue. Approval is usually given as long as you have kept within the terms of your tenancy agreement, and the new home is suitable for your needs e.g. the right size.
Exchanges can affect your rights such as the Right to Buy and staff can give proper advice.

Transfers to another home
There are many reasons why you might want to move and we look at each application on its merits. We look at your current accommodation to ensure it is large enough but not too large for you. We also consider health problems and wanting to move for employment reasons.
